Having served in both the Honolulu Police Department and the Kauai Police Department, Lovinna brings a unique perspective to the SHOPO State Board. She served 17 years at HPD, where she was awarded the Warrior Gold Medal of Valor—the department's highest honor—and has over 19 years of total law enforcement experience. Lovinna is currently assigned as a uniformed patrol officer in KPD’s Hanalei/Kawaihau District. Her career of advocating for SHOPO members spans both islands, having previously served as a Director on the Honolulu Chapter Board for District 5 (Kalihi), Community Affairs, and the Central Receiving Division, as well as a Director on the Kauai Chapter Board for the Hanalei/Kawaihau District.
