Jay is a Sergeant with the Honolulu Police Department with over 22 years of service. He's currently assigned to the Training Division as the Taser Energy Weapon Supervisor. Jay’s extensive union background includes more than 15 years of experience, previously serving as State Board Treasurer, Oahu Board Treasurer, and a State Board Director-at-Large. Originally from Tampa, Florida, he holds a Master’s Degree in Administration of Justice and Security.
