Corporal Carmel “Mel” Hurley is a 16-year veteran of the Honolulu Police Department currently assigned to the Training Division. Mel is a Director-At-Large for SHOPO’s State Board of Directors and previously served as the SHOPO Honolulu Chapter’s District 3, 3rd Watch Shop Steward. Holding a MA in Community Counseling and a BA in Psychology, Mel howetown is Ewa Beach, Hawaii.
