Brian is a Sergeant with over 24 years of KPD service, currently assigned to Lihue District Day Shift Patrol. A Marine Corps veteran originally hailing from Chicago, Brian’s law enforcement background includes specialized work as a Narcotics Officer and Major Crimes Detective. In 2024, he and two KPD colleagues were recognized by U.S Marshals Director Ronald Davis for their role in apprehending a dangerous fugitive, and in 2025 Brian was named as KPD’s State Law Enforcement Officer of the Year at the Top Cop Hawaii Awards Ceremony. Prior to becoming Kauai Chapter Chair, Brian served for two years as the Kauai Chapter Vice Chair.
